Julia Gillard mine tax 'to deliver $8bn less than forecast'

While there have been question marks on whether the coalition will deliver a $4.5 billion surplus or an $11 bn surplus, Labor's projected surplus is under a cloud according to global resources intelligence firm, Intierra which found revenue from the Gillard government's proposed mining tax faces an $8 billion shortfall.
