Just 5 days for Murray Darling Petition

There is just 5 daysto sign the Petition to hold the politicians and bureaucrats accountable on the Murray-Darling. ComeOnAustralia continues to push for the release of the secret draft Murray-Darling plan so affected communities and supporters can assess the policies of both parties before the election. If enough people sign we can make a difference.

The Government has pledged to provide an uncosted buyback of an unknown amount of money, based on unknown recommendations of an un-released secret report.

This election was said to be about a sustainable Australia. Whether you are a farming community or a conservationist or both, there is universal demand for the report by the Murray-Darling Basin Authority to be released.

Its a Tax, not a tax cut Ms Gillard
The attempt over the weekend to spin the Carbon Tax as a 'tax cut' is just more of the spin we can expect to see from the Government as it tries to impose its Carbon Tax without a mandate and without popular support. The Australian late today reports that none of the impacts of the Carbon Tax or the so-called tax cuts will form part of the Budget or the proposed Summit. This is, of course ridiculous with the Budget presuming to portray revenues and expenditures over the four year forward estimates.
