After school jobs robbed - revisited

So, people are waking back up to the unfair impact of a change to work arrangements for a lot of young people. Read this clip from the AFR and look to our After School Jobs Robbed campaign page to get some more background.

ComeOn championed the plight of young people like Matthew Spencer and Leticia Harrison who lost hours and work opportunities. Before the election nobody wanted to know about it. Let's see if we can't get some interest again.

This is NOT a suggestion to open up minimum shifts for all workers as the unions claim. This is to give school aged kids work opportunities that suit their study needs and the hours of the small businesses who employ them. Even Fair Work Australia admitted that young people had lost work opportunities as a result of changes by the Federal Government and supported by the unions.

After school and casual work experience is the toehold young people get into the jobs market that still see youth unemployment well above the average rates.
