Two recent TV commentaries on the Murray Darling Issue.

The first from the 7.30 report on 9/8/10 is an edited extract. The second from the ABC Insiders on 15/8/10 is an undedited extract. Have a look, decide for yourself and consider signing our petition. We are almost out of time this election, but it is an important issue and you can at least send a message that withholding this report until after the election is a cynical political exercise.

Its a Tax, not a tax cut Ms Gillard
The attempt over the weekend to spin the Carbon Tax as a 'tax cut' is just more of the spin we can expect to see from the Government as it tries to impose its Carbon Tax without a mandate and without popular support. The Australian late today reports that none of the impacts of the Carbon Tax or the so-called tax cuts will form part of the Budget or the proposed Summit. This is, of course ridiculous with the Budget presuming to portray revenues and expenditures over the four year forward estimates.
